How To: Add Sub-Users & Set Restrictions

If you have not done so already, you will need to Register as an “Enterprise Credit” account in order to add users and set their restrictions.

After you have done so, here is how you can add users and set their restrictions

How To: Add Users

1. Log into your account.

2. Click the yellow icon next to the 'Your Account' button.

3. Next, a new tab will appear on the right-hand side of the screen. On this tab, click the button that says “Users”.

4. When you click this, you will be sent to a page that displays your current list of users and allows you to add new users by simply clicking the “New User” button.

5. After clicking the “New User” button, fill in the information sheet for your new user. After you have filled in the information for your user, you can click the create button to save the information.  When you add a new user, you will have the option to make them either a “Purchasing Only User”, meaning that they are allowed to purchase items, but are not allowed to view the financials of the account; or you can make the user a “Financial View & Purchasing User”, meaning that they have the ability to both purchase items and see the account's financial information.

Since you have added a user, it is now time for you to learn How To Set Restrictions!

1. Click the yellow icon next to the “Your Account” button.

2. Next, a new tab will appear on the right-hand side of the screen. On this tab, click the button that says “Profile”.

3. Next, click “Advanced Settings”. This is where you can begin to set your users restrictions such as budget values, department restrictions, and approval controls.

4. Under “Approval Controls”, you will be able to set your maximum order values and control who is allowed to approve these orders.

5. To set restrictions for your approver, simply select the ‘Approver Settings’ tab. The person/people that you set to be ‘Approvers’ will usually be those members of your teams whose judgment that you trust. This is because they are the final barrier that an order will go through before it is purchased. To add an extra barrier,  you can assign an ‘Executive Approver’ to give secondary approval on all orders! "Super Approvers" can approve orders and do not need to wait for the approval of an Executive Approver. When an approver in on leave, you can assign a 'deputy approver' on the time being.

If you have any furthur questions, please do not hesitate to email us; We are happy to help with whatever you may need! Now that you have learned how to add users and set restrictions, would you like to learn about the benefits of doing this? If so, click here
