Tutorial: How To Use Quote Builder

Tutorial: How To Use CBS Bahamas' Online Quote Builder Tool

If you have not done so already, you will need to Register as a “Preferred Contractor” in order to access the Quote Builder feature.

After you have done so, here is how you can access our all-new Quote Builder tool. 

  1. Log into your account.
  2. Click the yellow icon next to the 'Your Account' button.

    3. Next, a new menu will appear on the right-hand side of the screen. On this menu, click the button that says 'Quote Builder'.

 

     4. When you click this, you will be sent to a page that displays both past and present quotes that you have created or began working on. The 'Status' will let you know whether your quote is incomplete, saved, sent, accepted, or rejected. 

 

How To Create A New Quote & Add Materials:

  1. Choose any item and add it to your cart.
    Note: Materials from other vendors can be added to your quote, you are not restricted to CBS Bahamas products only.
  2. Click 'Your Basket.'

     3. Next, Click 'Add to Quote Builder.'

     4. Next, you will be given the option to either create a new quote, or add the item to an already existing quote.

     5. Upon opening your new quote, you will be given an informational sheet to fill out. Click 'Edit' to fill in all the details.

   

 6. The 'Action' button will allow you to make a copy of your quote, email the quote directly to your client, print out the quote, and add items to your quote. 

     

7. At the bottom of this page, you will see the product summary of your quote. Here, you can also add any labour and miscellaneous fees to your quote.

 What Your Client Will See:

The 'Action' button will allow you to email the quote directly to your client. Upon emailing your quote, your client will receive a ready-made PDF of their completed quote along with the following message via email. Upon receiving this email, the customer will have the option to either accept or reject the quote. 

   

The ready-made PDF is going to look like this:
