On June 17th, CBS Bahamas staff and customers gathered outside of our flagship Southwest Plaza location for our favorite event of the year - our annual Father’s Day Grill Off! Marking our ninth year of this beloved tradition, we did something a little differently this time around. ‘Celebrity Fathers’ enthusiastically volunteered to partner with children from the Ranfurly Home; with the father/child duos grilling against one another to win a top-of-the-line Weber grilling package!
The atmosphere was filled with joy and excitement as the teams gave their all to impress the judges with their grilling techniques. The dishes they came up with were unique, creative, and most importantly, delicious! Our many vendors provided drinks and entertainment to the crowd as we waited for the winners to be announced. This year, our winning team was led by Kino - but really, we all felt like winners getting to see the joy on these kids' faces.
Once again, CBS Bahamas is thrilled to have had the opportunity to work with the kids of the Ranfurly Home, and we are already counting down the days to our Father’s Day Grill-Off in 2024!
