The Simpson Strong-Tie H2.5A Hurricane Tie provides robust protection against moderate wind and seismic forces, ensuring a secure connection between rafters or trusses and the top plate of your wall. Crafted from durable 18-gauge steel with a ZMAX galvanization for enhanced corrosion resistance, this tie is ideal for exterior and treated-wood applications. Its single-sided, symmetrical design simplifies installation, eliminating the need for right and left parts. Embossments along the bend line add strength to the connection, while the top flange’s arrow line indicator aids in accurate placement. Suitable for a variety of structural applications, the H2.5A is a versatile component in any construction project’s continuous load path.

Available in left-hand and right-hand models, and shipped in equal quantities of right and left versions. the H2.5AZ can be installed in pairs for maximum support and peace of mind.
