The easy-read digital display features large numbers and measures in 1/8 oz and 1 g increments. An optional backlight illuminates the display in low-light situations and a convenient weight indicator shows what remains of the Scale's 5 lb capacity. The digital display easily pulls away from the base to prevent shadowing from large plates or bowls. press the zero button to offset the weight of a container or to reset the weight to zero before adding additional ingredients. The platform removes for quick hand washing and the Scale's thin profile ensures easy setup, clean-up and storage. Four AAA batteries included.
