Model No: 01551. Protect and enhance your walls and surfaces with the Damtite 01551 Heavy-Duty Powder Waterproofer. This powerful, Portland cement-based coating is designed for sealing, protecting, and decorating a variety of structures, including poured concrete, concrete/cinder block, masonry, stone, brick, and stucco. With its ability to be used on both wet and dry surfaces, this waterproofer eliminates dampness and resists mold, mildew, flaking, and chalking. It also features a breathable film that prevents moisture from getting trapped behind the surface, ensuring long-lasting protection. This heavy-duty formula is safe for sealing the inside of drinking water concrete tanks and cisterns, making it a versatile solution for numerous applications. The Damtite 01551 is easy to use – simply add water (or Damtite Bonding Additive for previously painted or non-porous surfaces) and mix. It can withstand over 22 psi of hydrostatic pressure, equivalent to holding back a 48-foot high wall of water, and it also helps reduce radon gas infiltration. Ideal for both interior and exterior use, above or below grade, this product is perfect for basement walls, retaining walls, sea walls, foundations, bird baths, fountains, fish ponds, planters, and bare concrete swimming pools. Each 50 lb pail covers up to 350 sq ft on smooth surfaces and approximately 280 sq ft on rough surfaces. It comes with a 10-year guarantee for added peace of mind.
