  • Assistant Retail Store Manager

    AUGUST 2017

    Job Responsibilities
    As an Assistant Store Manager, you will be responsible to oversee the daily operations of the Retail Store. Your primary focus will be on customer service and achieving a high level of customer satisfaction.

    Your specific duties in this role will include
    Assisting store manager in responsibility for store
    Seeing that Customer Service remains consistently high and train staff in customer service skills
    Controlling inventory levels and ensuring that stock is maintained at a high level
    Mentoring and training of sales staff
    Assisting sales staff in gaining knowledge of store inventory
    Ensuring all pricing, signage and displays are maintained
    Ensuring store has a welcoming and clean environment

    Job Requirements
    We are looking for a success-driven and team-oriented person to help drive sales and contribute towards achieving sales growth through strong customer service, staff training and inventory management. You should also be highly organized and detail-oriented, with creative problem-solving techniques and the ability to effectively apply them to customer needs. It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to communicate professionally with staff and customers in a courteous, tactful, and concise manner.

    Specific qualifications for Assistant Store Manager include
    Associate's or Bachelor's degree Business Management, Marketing or any other related degree
    3 years of past retail experience
    Strong Customer Service skills
    Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word and experience using email
    Must be able to work a seven dayshift system as required
